On October 21st, the Education and Mission Committee will welcome David Epp, Ontario Regional Representative of Canadian Foodgrains Bank, as our guest speaker.
David will speak to us about his organization’s initiatives (which include some growing projects in this community) to fight global hunger.
Through the month of October, you will notice a display table in the narthex with a number of promotional items (aprons, ball caps, pens, coffee mugs, and water bottles) from the Foodgrains Bank.
We would encourage you to take one or more of these items on making a contribution (cheques payable to Canadian Foodgrains Bank; taxable receipts will be issued).
We thank you in advance for your donations, which we will provide to David Epp when he attends our service on the 21st. Please join us for a light lunch afterwards, when you can greet David and learn more about the important work that the Foodgrains Bank is doing.
